"Last week Judge Coughenour denied our request to block Microsoft's international legal barrage against Lindows.com," said Michael Robertson, beleagured founder and CEO of the beleagured company. "To assure that we can do business globally, we have selected a different name for our web presence and product name. I believe it's the only way to respond to an onslaught from such a rich company, since we need to be able to continue to grow our business."

Indu Strypundit, an industry pundit, was quick to point out that the newly chosen alternate name may face a whole new wave of lawsuits from Microsoft.

When asked about this possibility, Robertson responded, "Bring it on."

Alternatively, users may download and install Xine, Mplayer, Ogle, or other Linux applications for free, but then they don't get the enjoyment of knowing they are contributing to the expansion of Robertson's company.
